After having your breakfast at the hotel, you can start your tour for the next day. On the tour, you can visit the Sera Monastery and the Barkhor Square. After which you need to travel back to your hotel in order to spend the night. The next day will be followed by the visit to the Potala Palace along with your guide. Moreover, you will also get to view the tombs of the eight Dalai Lamas. If you really want to see the nuns and monks who are well chanting and performing the religious discourses then you must visit Drepung Monastery.
Early morning, after completing your breakfast at the hotel you will be taken for a visit around the Barkhor Square. In that old city, you will also get some souvenir. Apart from all this, you can also watch the pilgrims as they circumambulate the Jokhang.
On this particular day, you will ride along the Friendship Highway and then cross the Khamba La pass which is at an altitude of 4794m. While on the way you can also enjoy the savor majestic views of Yamdrok-Tso Lake and Nazin Kang SA. Then after completing your lunch at Naghaste, you can also come across the Karo La Pass. While approaching Karo La Pass, you will come across lots of beautiful scenarios and landscapes. At the end of the day, you will have to spend a night in Gyantse itself.
You will spend your entire day in visiting Gyantse Dzong and Kumbum. Gyantse Dzong is the historical fort of the 14th century and from there you can overlook the entire Gyantse and the surrounding of the Nyang Chu Valley. From there, if you drive for a few hours then you can reach Shigatse which is the largest city of Tibet.
Your journey on this day starts from the hotel through the Friendship Highway. The magnificent view of Gymasto La Pass and Lhatse town will give some bit of encouragement to move forward. In addition, many monasteries and the camps of nomadic become visible on the trip to Shegar.
This is the day when you can explore the Everest Base Camp which is at an altitude of 5150m. Even though the base camp is dry and barren but the wonderful view will make you feel like you are in paradise. After that, you need to ride back to Shegar, where you can enjoy your dinner and rest for the night.
While returning Shigatse, you will come across Tashilunpo monastery which was built in the year 1447 and is also the home of Panchen Lama. Without any doubt, you can say that this monastery is the most impressive one among all the Tibetan monasteries. The place also has a gold covered roof and Buddha gilded with almost 250 kg of gold.
A way back to Lhasa, which is on the northern leg of the Friendship Highway along the Brahmaputra. This is the road which is very less travelled by the rural Tibet but it leads us to the highest pass that is at 5400m.
On this day, you will have to ride towards the Namtso Lake which is at an altitude of 4718m. It is the worlds highest and for Tibet, it is the second largest saltwater lake. After having a look at all this, you will have to head back to Lhasa.
This is the day when you will be taken to Lhasa Airport so that you can fly back to your destination. And this all will be done only after giving you a farewell from our side.
