Nature Safari Tour - Trip Overview
Nepal is rich for its cultural varieties between and among the different ethnic and religious communities. Being unique and novel, Nepalese culture offers a lot of things to the people from other cultures to learn or to experience such as clothes, food, life styles, greetings and manners etc. The culture also includes rituals, music, entertainment, literature, and day to day activities. The hospitality of the Nepalese people is worldwide famous which can be experienced during the stay.
Arrive at Kathmandu International airport. Meet, welcome, and assist by our office representative & transfer to hotel. Welcome drink, followed by tour briefing. Get refreshed, and rest of the day is free for personal activities on your own. Back to hotel, and overnight.
Breakfast and proceed for Sightseeing tour covering: Pashupatinath Temple – The richly-ornamented pagoda houses the sacred linga or phallic symbol of Lord Shiva. Thousands of pilgrims from all over the world come to pay homage to this temple that is also known as 'The Temple of Living Beings'. Boudhanath Stupa - It is located 7 km East/Northeast of Kathmandu & home to one of the largest Buddhist Stupas in the world, built during the 5th century AD. Surrounding area of the stupa also known as little Tibet because this area is covered by Tibetan refugees and is one of the biggest Tibetan refugee camps of the valley. Swayambhunath Stupa – One of world's most glorious, ancient, and enigmatic and the holiest of Buddhist Chaityas dating back more than 2000 years which is situated on a hillock. It is also known as the Monkey Temple as there are holy monkeys living in the north-west parts of the temple. It offers breathtaking view of whole Kathmandu valley with eastern Himalayan ranges.
Patan Durbar Square – Patan located on lovely little plateau across the Bagmati is only 7 KM southeast of Kathmandu. This city roughly inhabited by some 125000 people in considered oldest of all three cities of Kathmandu valley. This city founded in 3rd century AD. By King Veera Dev has a finest Newar crafts since time immemorial. Meaning the city of fine arts has hundreds of fascinating Hindu and Buddhist monuments scattered in and around. The most important monument area of course is Patan Durbar Square.
After sightseeing tour, if time permits, free for personal activities on your own – shopping, visiting around tourist hub of Thamel etc. Finally return to hotel, and overnight.
Breakfast, check out from the hotel & drive for Pokhara (210 KM/ 6 hours) observing the scenic views on the National highway along the Trishuli River. En-route visit Manakamana temple by cable car (Optional) by Paying extra. Mata Manakamana symbolized as the goddess to fulfill the wishes. Finally return to the highway & drive for Pokhara. Upon arrival, check into the hotel. Evening walk around the tourist area of Lakeside and enjoy the view of western Himalayan ranges with Mt Fishtail. Return to hotel and overnight.
Pokhara - The rare combination of snow-clad peaks and snow fed lakes and rivers has helped to make the valley of Pokhara, one of the most picturesque natural attractions in the kingdom. It is located virtually in the geographical center of Nepal. Located on the main road between Kathmandu and Bhairahawa, there may be no other place in the world from where Great Himalayas peaks can be admired from such a close distance.
The Bindabasini Temple on its well-kept platform overlooks a modest amusement park. Phewa Lake, skirted by a large numbers of unpretentious lodges and simple restaurants, is the most congenial spot for visitors.
Breakfast, and proceed for half day Sightseeing to Pokhara valley covering: Bindabasini Temple – situated on a small hillock overlooking eye catching view of the beautiful Mt. Fishtail at a hand shaking distance, Mahadev Cave, Devi’s fall, Seti gorge & Fewa Lake with 1 hour boat ride own your own . After Sightseeing tour return to hotel and rest of the day is free to go around Lake City for shopping on your own. Back to hotel and overnight.
Breakfast & drive to Chitawan National Park (151 KM/5 hours). On arrival check into the Resort / jungle lodge followed by welcome drink and briefing about the jungle activities. Lunch and proceed for jungle activities. Dinner and overnight will be at jungle lodge /resort.
Stay overnight in Lhasa.
Wake up call with tea / coffee followed by Nature walk and Bird watching tour. Breakfast & start jungle safari on Elephant back to see different kinds of deer, rhinoceros, wild boar, leopard, monkeys, birds and many other smaller animals. After elephant back safari tour proceed for Dugout Canoe Ride along with Dungre/ Rapti River to see 2 types of rare species of crocodile; the marsh mugger and the fish eating Gharial. Visit elephant breeding farm & drive back to the lodge. Late afternoon Village walk can be organized nearby Tharu village. Walk / drive back to the lodge/resort. Evening enjoy “Tharu Tribal Dance” presented by the local Tharu villagers. Dinner & overnight at the jungle resort / lodge.
Wake up call followed by tea / coffee. Breakfast & drive back to Kathmandu (186 KM/ 5 hours). Arrive Kathmandu and check into hotel. Rest of the day is free to explore your own. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.
Stay overnight in Lhasa.
Breakfast & check out from hotel. Timely transfer to the airport for flight to your onward destination.
